Assemblage is a new way to shop Mich Dulce.

A move away from seasonal collections, every Assemblage brings together a curated mix of our products, allowing us to remain consistently creative, revisit past pieces, utilize our resources and manufacture in most sustainable way.

Each piece will have unique parameters for purchasing, from small editions to made-to-order. Many materials for each assemblage are limited due to the nature of its procurement: making use of end of line fabrics, hand woven textiles from partner communities, internationally sourced notions and more. Through Assemblage, we aim to minimize waste and honor the craft of our artisans through timelines that are comfortable for our makers, bringing you conscious pieces that are made with intent.

Reimagining The Amish

Mich Dulce introduces her latest assemblage, “Reimagining The Amish”. Referencing her fascination for the Amish and their rules of dress, this assemblage consists of dresses, tops, skirts, aprons and trousers with a neutral pallet, brought to life through layers and drapes and accented with her trademark millinery. Through this collection, Mich also introduces latex clothing as part of her repertoire, another eco-friendly and sustainable material that aligns with the designer’s values and penchant for working with uncommon craft. She juxtaposes the sheen of polished rubber with locally sourced handwoven Pina and Japanese twill, executed in her voluminous and feminine approach.

Assemblage 002 is a modular set of three clothing pieces: a terno bolero, an apron, and a belt. Photographed in pineapple fabric, each piece can be worn individually, or layered together, to build different looks. The clothes are complimented by a three tropical themed headpieces, that can be upgraded with various veils.
